WE hit the stage every night and seem to pull out of thin air powerful magic!
I love the fact that when I'm not feeling it, they have my back , and , visa versa.
It's an honor to share the stage with them.
There's a lot more magic to come folks!!!
See you in a few
Much love Rob Barraco
Powerful magic it is Rob!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate to see the Dead 37 times during the late 80's up until Jerry passed away. After his death I sort of found myself unconsciously disconnected from the whole scene but yet on occasion I would bust out an old bootleg to remind me of old times. Many times it left me with a hollow sad feeling thinking there might never be a band that could make me feel the same groove...emotion....spirituality.....and magic that I got from the Grateful Dead!! That is until I saw you guys this last summer for the first time....a sold out show at the Minnesota Zoo! That was the night the hidden magic was released again!!!! Since then I have been fortunate to see you guys 3 times including a spectacular show in Des Moines, Iowa last month where you guys blew us all away! I can’t keep myself from checking your website daily to take a peek at recent set lists, read your blog and reviews…..it sure appears you had one heck of a tour.
Just wanted to send out a quick thank you for bringing the Grateful Dead back into my life...and for being the remarkable magicians/musicians you all are!
Peace,

Hey Rob,
ReplyDeleteJust want to thank you guys for doing all that you do. I never got to see the Dead play as I'm only 20 years old, but when I saw you guys back in '08 for the first time, the "magic" certainly was there! I've been hooked ever since, and it has been quite a fun ride. There's nothing better then coming to see you guys with my father and uncle (who took me to my first DSO show). It's all about carrying on the music through time, and you guys do a fantastic job of that for the younger generation Dead Heads. Looking forward to seeing you guys a few times throughout March.
But thanks again for introducing me to an entire new array of music that I had never experienced before. Keep on truckin on.
